Students of the csga travelled to Spain and studied at  Centro Superior de Enseñanza Musical “Progreso Musical” in Madrid in collaboration with prizewinning classical guitarist Alfonso Aguirre Dergal. The students received  training and chamber coaching alongside the local pupils with lessons in music history and theory, rehearsing together to create international ties among the institutions. At the end of the trip, the group performed in a concert to culminate their training and experience. It was a great experience studying in a setting where  Isaac Albéniz, Francisco Tárrega, and pianist Enrique Granados all thrived.
